Felt Christmas Ornament

The Lydia's group at Peace Lutheran Church is always looking for fun crafts for their annual Boutique.  A stack of felt was donated so in looking for an idea to use it, I found a pattern from this blog

Downloaded the free templates and made this.

I traced the templates onto freezer paper, ironed them onto the felt and cut them out.  I used adhesive spray to hold pieces in place while I did a blanket stitch around each piece.  French knots for eyes.

Halloween Bags

Made these Halloween Trick or Treat bags for
a church fall boutique.

Final product, might embellish with halloween buttons.

No pattern was used.  I cut coordinating fabric for outer bag and inner bag measuring about 14 inches wide and 16 1/2 inches tall.  Then I cut out a 1 1/2 inch square on the bottom.  The handles were cut 3 inches wide, folded in half for two 1 1/2 inch handles.  They can be any length.  Next I sewed the outer bag and the inner bag, then putting right sides together with handles pin inside and sewed around the top leaving about a 3 inch opening to turn right side out.  Lastly I top stitched the upper bag with two rows of stitching.
