Felted Soap Cozy with Cable

This felted Soap Cozy felts as  you use it.  It was made with Lion Brand Fishermen's Wool and the pattern was free.

Double Seed Stitch Throw

This is probably the most time consuming project I've done.  This Throw size blanket will take almost 2000 yards of yarn that equals 20 skeins of Wool-Ease Thick  Quick yarn.  I got the yarn 50% off with a coupon at Joann Fabric so kept cost about $80.

The pattern was free at 'The Purl Bee', here is the link.

I would just do the Crib size for a couch throw if I did this again because I don't think it needs to be so big.

I might make a pillow cover to match.  I found knitted throws at The Pottery Barn that were smaller and not as nice for $129.

Hexie Twist Coaster Set

What a fun project.  These coasters where very easy if you cut them precisely.  The pattern is by Julie Creus for 'Cut Loose Press'.  I purchased it at Quilted Treasures in Rogers, Mn.

I think they turned out pretty cute!!!

Knitting needle organizer

This amazing pattern by Terry Atkinson was exactly what I needed to keep my knitting needles together.  I've use many of her patterns before and they are always easy.

It was doable within a day for an experienced sewer and binding experience will finish this off nicely.

American Girl Doll Catalog sent to my house.

This catalog came to my house and my four year old granddaughter wanted it badly.  It's only $72, YIKES!!!
What's a grandmother suppose to do?????

Find a few stash patterns and less than $10 in fabric (the buttons were $2.00) and…….

closed enough.  I just have to find and tiara and make some gloves, no problem.
